Names Similar to Lauren

Lauren is a beautiful name- so much so that it consistently appeared in the US Top 20 names from 1985-2004. It began gaining in popularity in the 1970's, breaking the US Top 100 baby names for the first time in 1974 (at #187). It has had a solid history here in the States, yet people have been losing interest lately, as we see the name drop in the rankings. 2015 with the first time in over 40 years that Lauren did not rank in the top 100 (#119)! So, maybe we all want some lesser known variations so our daughters don't have to adopt nicknames or the first letter of the last name in school.
